Corona destroyed children’s world: Who will be the support of orphaned children?
This devastating virus has also affected the lives of many innocent children of our country. Some children lost their father, some got away from the mother’s lap and there were many such cases where the innocent lost both their parents.
The scene that the country saw in the second wave of Corona, no one would have seen it even in a nightmare. Such a dreadful period where millions of lives trapped in the maze of death created by Corona were seen fighting for their existence.

Until the year 2020, when Corona first knocked in China, the world was unaware of the catastrophe that would befall humanity. Before this pandemic of Corona, we i.e. mankind used to think of big missiles, atom bombs and wars between enemy countries as the biggest enemy of humanity, but this disaster destroyed all prejudices.
No one had imagined that an invisible enemy ‘The Corona virus’ would prove to be so destructive and destructive. Because of the present circumstances, it would not be an exaggeration to call it the biggest, destructive and powerful enemy of human history.
How deadly this wave of the corona is, can be gauged from the fact that only about one and a half lakh people have lost their lives in this wave. Many laughing and playing families were ruined. Some lost their son, some lost their husband, many mothers lost their lap.
The shadow of the parents snatched from the heads of innocent children
This devastating virus has also affected the lives of many innocent children of our country. Some children lost their father, some got away from the mother’s lap and there were many such cases where the innocent lost both their parents.
These children are the future of our country, the father of future generations, if the country has to secure its future, then the responsibility of grooming and improving the presentation of these children will have to be taken on its shoulders.
Millions of children will not return to school even after the pandemic, due to loss of their parent's livelihood, food insecurity & lack of social protection. We need urgent compassionate action for our children & honest political will to end this crisis. How effective is government aid?
The government and the state governments have taken some necessary and important steps in this direction, but are they enough?
Corona has made the world of children orphaned, frightened and anti-social. In such a situation, at what level the efforts of the governments will be effective, remains to be seen.
Although the government has made a monthly allowance till adulthood or has made arrangements for free education, how effective it is on the land, only time will tell.
Here Corona destroyed the green world of children. Many children do not have parents, so the state governments have asked to take responsibility for their upbringing.
However, it is not sufficient. The Ministry of Women and Child Development has officially told that this second wave of the corona has so far snatched the shadow of parents from the heads of 577 children in the country.
For example, these are official figures, the actual situation could be worse.
Schemes should be implemented by identifying orphan children
When most of the states of the country have made many announcements keeping in mind the future of the children orphaned by the outbreak of the Corona epidemic.
In such a situation, the priority of the governments should be to identify such children and connect them with these schemes and announcements.
Such special task forces should be constituted by the governments to ensure that these welfare schemes are being implemented properly at the ground level.
Technology and online learning are necessary for filling the digital divide. But they cannot substitute for the wisdom and guidance of our teachers. Nor can touchscreens replace the human touch essential for our survival and growth as human beings. @eduint @daveswords

Special Task Force keeping an eye on the round development of children
The Special Task Force made for children should also be entrusted with the responsibility to constantly monitor the all-around development of such children and send its detailed report to the government at a stipulated time.
This will keep the government informed about the progress of every child. Also, if there is a need to take necessary steps in any matter, then keeping in mind the interest of the child, she can take steps.
Counselling of adolescent children
Orphaned children who are in their teens. They must be living in a ‘trauma’ having lost their parents. Such children necessarily need counselling.
It has become necessary for governments to take steps in this direction. Counsellors should be arranged for these children without wasting time. So that they can be saved from the mental trauma they have suffered.
Government and NGOs should work together
If both (government and NGOs) work together to rehabilitate children and link them with the welfare schemes of the government, then positive and effective results can be seen. There are lakhs of NGOs in the country, they just need to be mobilized and encouraged.
Nobel laureate and child rights activist Kailash Satyarthi recently said at the 74th conference of the World Health Organization that Corona is not just a health and economic crisis, but it is a crisis of justice, civilization and humanity.
To save the children from the devastation caused by the pandemic, we have to take them together.
