Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh top in corona vaccine waste, know the condition of other states
On behalf of the Union Ministry of Health (Health Ministry), it has been said that the maximum wastage of corona vaccine in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. In these two states, more than 30 per cent of the vaccine (Corona Vaccine) has been wasted.

- Chhattisgarh 30.5%
- Tamil Nadu 15.5%
- Jammu and Kashmir 10.8 %
- Madhya Pradesh. 10.7%

At the same time, Tamil Nadu is third in the waste of vaccine. While Jammu and Kashmir are at number four and Madhya Pradesh at number five. The Central Government has said that it should be ensured that vaccine wastage is minimized.
If we look at the figures released by the ministry, then 37.3 per cent in Jharkhand, 30.2 per cent in Chhattisgarh, 15.5 per cent in Tamil Nadu. 10.8 per cent of vaccines have been wasted in Jammu and Kashmir and 10.7 per cent in Madhya Pradesh.
Talking about the national average, the rate of vaccine wastage across the country is 6.3 per cent.
The central government has appealed to the states to stop wasting the vaccine and try to bring it below 1 per cent.
