World Environment Day: When will society be serious about the environment?
Actually, it is our moral duty to protect the environment. Today various types of competitions are organized by the governments. Lakhs of rupees are spent.
Nothing will be done just by making false statements. Today air pollution is becoming a formidable and incurable problem.
Statistics show that every year two million people in the world lose their lives due to air pollution. The straw is being burnt. Clothes are being burnt. Plastic is being burnt. Due to all this, the environment is getting polluted.
Environmental imbalance is becoming a serious problem worldwide. How ironic that today the environment is pure, but every face is wearing a mask.
The environment has become pure due to the corona curfew and lockdown in the corona epidemic. The water of the Ganges has become pure. The air has become pure. Nature has smelled. Nature is happy. The trees and plants have become green and clean. There is a breeze of pure air.
A lot has changed in two months. If the same curfew is imposed on two days of the week, then it will have a lot of impacts. This is very important for the environment.
Of course, today on June 5, 2021, Environment Day is being celebrated all over the world. The first Environment Day was celebrated in the world on 5 June 1974. Today the 47th Environment Day is being celebrated, but such events are just a formality.
The picture will not change in a day
Only on one day, resolutions are taken for the protection of the environment. Rallies are taken out by schools, colleges and voluntary organizations. Seminars are organized. The oath is administered to school children along with officials in government departments and government institutions. Then the environment is blown up by polluting it.
Pollution has become deadly
Today air pollution is proving to be fatal all over the world. Due to the deliberate mistakes of a few people, pollution is spreading in the environment today.
Today human beings are suffering from diseases of the mother-in-law and other incurable diseases due to their own mistakes. Suffering from asthma.
All this is coming out as a result of environmental pollution. Unless human beings will not protect the environment with a sincere heart, then such events are meaningless.
One day slogans are raised to save the environment, then the environment is not remembered for the whole year. Only everyone’s participation can save the environment.
Today disasters are happening, mountains are cracking, clouds are bursting, glaciers are melting, trees and plants are being cut indiscriminately, forests are being set on fire.
Governments and the intellectuals of the society will have to brainstorm for the protection of the environment. Campaigns should be run for the protection of the environment.
Nothing will happen by making speeches, you will have to work on the ground. One day there is playfulness, then 365 days a year people pollute the environment. That is to say that if the environment is to be saved in the true sense, then everyone will have to unite. Only then can we protect it.
Today mining is being done unscientific, hills are cracking, chest of pits are being sieved, water sources are drying up, the water level is decreasing. Today humans are building palaces by mining, but one day they will crave water. Mining has to stop.
The water level of rivers and streams is falling. Today the water of most of the rivers is polluted. Today cleanliness campaigns are being run to keep the environment safe. Cleanliness of the environment is our religion.
Small steps have to be taken together
The environment has to be pollution-free. Today, where a cleanliness campaign is going on for environmental protection all over India, crores of rupees are being spent on this campaign that the environment should be pure and every citizen should be healthy because it is said that cleanliness is very important for good health. But some sick and low-minded people are discounting this campaign.
Such people are not deterring from spreading dirt and increasing pollution in villages and cities. In fact, the minds of these people are full of filth. As a result, it will only spread filth.
When they will suffer from diseases due to dirt, then these people will come to their senses. Dirty garbage and clothes are being burnt in front of the roads and shops, due to which the environment is getting polluted.
Due to these toxic fumes, people are suffering from respiratory diseases. But these people are not concerned about how big a loss is being caused by their small mistake.
Due to the fumes of vehicles plying on the roads, the public is also being harmed. Licenses of such drivers should be cancelled, who commit such deadly acts.
The small mistake of such people is hurting so many people. Today, even though programs are going on all over India regarding cleanliness campaign, but these people are not concerned with this. These are labelled ‘We will not improve’.
This shameless type of people are not deterring from their habits and are constantly spreading dirt. Social organizations are taking step by step for the bus cleaning campaign and people are being made aware of this campaign.
Some people don’t like cleanliness. Those people are still spreading filth. All the garbage of shops and houses are being burnt in front of the shops of the people. Such people are discounting this campaign.
The government and administration should crack down on such people who are spreading filth. If legal action is taken against them, then they will understand what a crime it is to spread dirt.
It has often been seen that people throw garbage only in the morning when they go out for a walk. The administration should install CCTV cameras in the markets so that the actions of those who spread the dirt are recorded in the camera, only then they can be stopped.
Government should take steps
The government should take action against those who spread pollution and dirt and fines should be imposed on the arbiters, only then these people will come to their senses.
Those who spread the filth should be punished so that they do not dare to spread the filth again. The pollution control board should also keep an eye on the polluters from time to time. Panchayats should also campaign against such people.
Every citizen of the country will have to make sacrifices in this sacrifice of cleanliness of the environment, then the day is not far when the environment will be clean in every village and city in India.
The cleanliness campaign has to be run continuously, only then we can get rid of dirt. It is our moral duty to save the environment. We should not deviate from this duty. If everyone works unitedly, then we can save the environment from getting polluted.
Government and non-government organizations will have to contribute to this, campaigns will have to be run jointly. Effective steps have to be taken to protect the environment.
Awareness camps will have to be organized. To save the environment through the medium of communication, light has to be raised. The environment will be saved, only then human life will also be saved.
Today, on Environment Day, a resolution has to be taken to save the environment, only then such environment days will have meaning.
