Very heavy rain alert in Uttarakhand-Himachal
Due to the western disturbance in the sea, the weather is taking a turn in many states across the country. For the next five days, a prediction has been issued, according to which hail will fall, somewhere there will be rain and somewhere there will be thunderstorms.
Due to the Western Disturbances and Cyclonic Circulation, the weather patterns in the north and northwestern states may be different in the next five days.
Especially after the cloud burst in the Dev Prayag incident in Uttarakhand’s Devprayag, heavy to very heavy rain is being warned.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be torrential rains in areas like Uttar Kashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Pauri Garhwal, Nainital. Also, weather warnings have been issued in other states as well.
While the Meteorological Department has issued an Orange Alert in some districts of Uttarakhand, Union Home Minister Amit Shah talked to the Chief Minister of the state Tirath Singh Rawat about the situation over the phone.
On the other hand, according to Weather.com’s prediction, due to the disturbance in the sea near Pakistan, rain conditions are forming in northern India during this summer season.
Where will the weather be?
In the Himalayan states, heavy rains are expected from Wednesday to Friday, while there is the forecast of thunderstorm and rain in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana during this period.
Apart from Uttarakhand, heavy rain and snowfall have been warned over the next three days in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. In central India, there is a possibility of rain in some areas.
At the same time, cyclonic conditions are also forming in the sea near Bangladesh, due to which there is a possibility of disturbing the weather patterns from western Rajasthan to the northeast states.
There is a warning of rain and thunderstorm in North Eastern states as well as West Bengal. According to the Meteorological Department, Kerala and Lakshadweep may receive heavy to very heavy rains, while Tamil Nadu and Karnataka are likely to receive heavy rains till May 15 in the south. Here fishermen have been instructed not to go to sea.
Hail may fall in Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the seasonal system, strong winds and rains are forecast in Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Ajmer and Bharatpur divisions during the next three days, while in northern Rajasthan, hail has also been warned of falling on Wednesday and Thursday.
Significantly, along with Jaipur, the situation of drizzle and thunderstorms were seen in the last 24 hours in some areas. Thunderstorms were cloudy at many places.
