Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s big announcement, Oxygen gas plant will be installed in 15 districts of Bihar
Given the increasing crisis of oxygen in the Corona period, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the introduction of new oxygen plants throughout the country.
Bihar will also be a big benefit of this announcement by the Prime Minister. According to the central government’s announcement, 551 new oxygen plants will be installed throughout the country.
New oxygen plants will be installed in 15 districts of Bihar. This will lead to a major increase in health facilities in the state. The introduction of new Oxygen plants will also create employment at the local level.
Funds for these plants will be allocated from the PM Care Fund.

- Saharsa
- Vaishali districts
This will lead to a major increase in health facilities in the state as well as an increase in the availability of oxygen for industries. Funds for these plants will be allocated from the PM Care Fund.

According to information released by Press Information Bureau, Bihar’s Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Darbhanga, Gaya, Gopalganj, Katihar, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Nalanda, West Champaran, Patna, Purnia, Saharsa, and Vaishali districts will be set up.
Shahabad region has got only one oxygen plant, while more oxygen plants are being set up in North Bihar. An Oxygen plant has also been found in the Gaya division.
The Government has taken care that every region should be accommodated in it.
According to the central government’s plan, the pressure swings adsorption medical oxygen generation plants to be set up from the PM Cares Fund will be set up in government hospitals.
These will be established in the districts as soon as the space is available in the hospital. For this, the tender process is expected to be started soon. However, before this, the government will have to choose the place for the plant.

Immediately, the supply of oxygen has been increased from West Bengal and Jharkhand to Bihar.
