Falling population figures testifying to atrocities in Xinjiang, population decline by up to 48%
The face of China’s abusive atrocities in Xinjiang province has once again been exposed. China’s western province of Xinjiang has recorded a historic decline in population figures from 2017 to 2019.
China continues to persecute the Uyghurs Muslims living in the province in lakhs. He has established torture camps here. The declining population figures of the population of this region are a testimony to this fact.
The Australian Strategy Policy Institute has given its full report on this assessment.
According to the report, the population of Uygar Muslims, Kazakis and other minority Muslims living in Xinjiang has declined by 48.74 percent.
It also includes the number of people fleeing and killed. Not only this, but the birth rate has also decreased by 43.7 per cent in 2017 and 2018. This region has not seen such a decline in 71 years in these recent years. This decrease in population has been seen for the first time in the United Nations census so far.
Such a decline in figures did not come even in the Syrian civil war and the genocide of Rwanda and Cambodia.
Researcher and report co-author Nathan Rouser says -the population decline is unprecedented.
This gives a sense of how mass population reduction is being done in Xinjiang.
How are the authorities curb here?
The report also confirms last year’s report by German researcher Adrian Jinge that China is taking measures like abortion, sterilization and torture and fines for childbirth in a planned way to reduce the birth rate in Xinjiang.
The Chinese government and the Foreign Ministry did not immediately comment on the report.
